In this necklace I captured the natural beauty of a Queen ann's lace meadow.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders wild meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The delicate wildflowers were carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, circle shaped frame. The resin protects the wildflowers from againg and has a glossy finish. The piece is finished with a small bee sitting on top of the wildflowers and tiny pieces of goldleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wildflower meadow.
