In this pair of ear posts I captured ivory and red toned Queen Anne's lace from flanders wild meadows between fine layers of resin.
My process starts with collecting and preserving wildflowers gathered from Flanders meadows. Everything is pressed and dried to retain its natural colours and details in the best way possible.
The wildflowers were carefully arranged and casted in a high quality, circle shaped frame. The resin protects the flowers from aging and has a glossy finish.
The piece is finished with tiny pieces of hand cut silverleaf inspired by the sunlight peeking through the wild meadow.
