Handmade earrings with real gypsophila and gold Leaf.
In this elegant, handmade pair of earrings, I preserved gypsophila between thin layers of resin.
Each flower is lovingly picked from Flanders' wild meadows. The flowers are then dried for up to 8 weeks to preserve their fresh, natural colors and beauty.
The delicate flowers are then treated and encased in a high-quality, circle-shaped pendant, that provides the perfect elegant frame for the sparkling floral scene within.
The resin further protects the preserved flowers from aging and provides a glossy finish.
The piece is finished with tiny fragments of gold leaf, inspired by the sun's golden rays penetrating the wild meadow. This creates an elegant and ethereal effect of light and flora, where each flower seems to absorb and reflect a subtle warm glow.
The pendants hang from gold-filled earwires, a quality material that combines the warmth of gold with the durability to be worn every day.
